Background

Dr. Gross is serving as Acting Director of the Office of Surveillance and Biometrics at the Center for Devices and Radiological Health for the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Prior to coming to FDA, Dr. Gross worked as an epidemic intelligence service officer with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and earned a Master of Public Health degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health. He is board certified in pediatrics, general preventive medicine, and clinical pharmacology.
